10/10 faultless
Show moreOur hotel had everything we needed ad a fostering family. Our neurodiverse children were at all times safe happy and respected. The staff were amazing at Coral Bay water park in Sharm el Shiek, the food and hospitality of staff were also of a high standard. We are booking to return next year.
Show moreOur accommodation was dated and poorly maintained. We had requested adjoining rooms via email a few weeks before the trip, which they committed to doing so via email for a small surcharge, on arrival they couldn’t do this and we were 2 floors apart. They offered to move us the next day, however, still not to adjoining rooms. Whilst I was complaining about this to the desk manager, he left me mid conversation to greet his friend who had just walked into the hotel. It was one of the rudest experiences of my life. They asked us to come back on day 4 of our holiday to move rooms but we chose not to do so. The pool area was good, however, during our short time in the hotel the pool had been pooped in twice which is something we have never experienced on any holiday before. The life guards around to pool took great joy in telling off the children, I had to on multiple occasions ask the life guard to refrain from telling my children off which they seemed to do for fun. My little girl refused to go in the pool for a few days as she gets nervous when people shout at her. We had one occasion where a small child started drowning in the pool, and the lifeguard started whistling at me and shouting at me. I went to check on the child to make sure he was okay, but surely the role of a lifeguard is to step in when someone is in trouble. We did notice that on a few of the evenings the lifeguards were in the pool doing swimming lessons, so we assumed that maybe they struggled to swim. The service was atrocious and the staff were incredibly rude and constantly asked for tips, we spent about £100 in a week for dismal service. Most of the waiters were either on their phones, or talking to their friends. Whilst I appreciate that this was a budget break, we were appalled by the level of service given. I would not recommend anyone to go to this hotel.
