Just wanted to give you a review of the hotel and a view suggestions. We have stayed 7/8 times in RIU hotels and this has been the best so far. Just come back from 2 week stay. Hotel is lovely. Very typical of any RIU palaces. Very clean. Staff are ALWAYS cleaning. Even things you wouldn’t think about. Layout is good and easy to navigate. Rooms were very clean, spacious and nice. There was shampoo conditioner shower gel soap and moisturiser in the room. All lovely products. Sofa bed was not made up we asked for it to be and within 10 mins it was done. BLanca kept the room lovely all holiday. Food in buffet. There was a lot of choices but did feel quite repetitive, they did do theme nights but most things had already been on the menu already. Staff in the buffet were really attentive. Some were pushing for tips but others just gave you great service. (I do tip little as I go but bigger at the end of the holiday when you see who really puts the effort in and not just for tips ) Speciality restaurants were all good there was always something for everyone even the picky eaters. Fine dining and Japanese one was my best. Pools were great a few to choose from. They got very warm by end of day but this is expected. They were cleaned daily and lifeguards were alway about and helpful. Thanks lalo for helping with any questions we had. Bars by the pool were good and the waiters would bring drinks. Some not all would take orders and forget to bring them. It did seem like they prioritise those tipping for every drink. (Again we tipped at the end of the day not every time ) javier was Fantatic. We was very upset when he was not new where we was. It was nice seeing them throw staff in the pool On their birthday. Just showed they were happy and a real team and that they were allowed some personality at work. The bar man in the theatre every night and during football OMG OUT OF THIS WORLD. Sorry I forgot your name. But that man is amazing not only does he remember your drinks through the whole holiday he serves about 4 people at a time with no mistakes. Leah’s has a massive smile. Does such an amazing job. Entertainment staff AMAZING the whole team but a massive shoutout to Johnny, Emmanuel, alexis sexy sexy and Jackie, Brallio, Otto, Kevin and Rebecca You all really kept us entertained. All day every day. nothing was ever too much. They always tried to get you involved. There was daily games throughout the day. Darts, ping pong volleyball either on beach or pool, corn hole and many many more. If you’re not into games there is an art studio and they do painting hats, bags and money boxes. I think they change the activities a lot to keep people engaged. You can also buy a canvas to paint anything you like. There do fitness classes with Nacho Loco including step bungee cord and of course the water aerobics daily. Kids club for the younger ones. They even take them to the water park. They take little ones to another hotel (via bus) for a pirate party. (Parents have to go. Common sense I know but I heard people ask if the staff could just take them). Pool party for adults at the adult only hotel again transport provided. There is a party at the dunamar every Wednesday one week white one week neon. These are for all the family. Entertainment staff go over with you and provide face painting before you go over. Every night before dinner they do little games outside the coffee shop. Everyone gets included. They do kids club every night. With different games and stories and chance to win a prize every night. A different member of staff does it each night so always something different. Followed by kahoot or bingo then a show. Best show was the crazy show. Very entertaining. But they have an abba, Micheal Jackson, Mexican circus and more. So a wide variety. Most nights there’s also a live band before the show and after. Everyone would get up and dance great atmosphere. All In all had a great holiday and if I go back to Mexico this is the hotel for me.

Staff are wonderful place is immaculate clean

The only complaint is that the pools became extremely warm in the afternoon i have not experienced this at any other Caribbean hotel, food and service was excellent

Hotel nowhere near as good as last visit less to do more restrictions and more money with less to do after paying emailed to say we cannot acces some pools and certain things only available to elite visitors, with that being the case I feel we should have been upgraded as we booked and paid before being informed about this, therefore the holiday should have been way cheaper

The hotel was lovely, very clean and the staff were very friendly. The room service was great and mini fridge gets restocked daily. The hotel is quite large, our room was quite a walk from the reception.
