    Hotel was clean and well equipped. Was a smallish hotel but had everything needed. Food became a bit repetitive on our 11 night trip.

    “Superbra resa”

    Vi var på ett hotell i Bulgarien(Alua Helios Bay) vi är väldigt nöjda, hotellet är fint och fräscht. Personalen trevliga och hjälpsamma. och allting var jättefint. Vår resa med TUI var en av de bästa resorna, med otrolig organisering, och allt var toppen. Jag rekommenderar det definitivt till mina vänner, och allt var verkligen, verkligen bra.

    Where do I start this was supposed to be a four star platinum hotel it’s a 3 star and there is nothing platinum about it, it may have been previously when owned by RIU but since it was bought in 2023 it has dropped all the awards are pre-2019. The rooms were nice and all had a see view but in terms of cleanliness this is the worst I have seen. We went as a group and my father in law spilt coffee on the sheet on the first night and after the 7th night it was still there so they were never changed. All the cleaners did was semi made the bed and this was just putting the duvet back on In terms of food if you love pork you will love this hotel pork steaks and pork stews every dinner and tea time. They had chicken every other night. For dinner we preferred the snack bar that made fresh pizza and had chicken nuggets for the kids. We never got chance to try the à la cart restaurant as it only opens Sundays and Mondays (a decent chicken kebab from one of the shops up the road about 5 minutes walk was 5-7 euros depending where b the size these were really good) If you stay here bring your own cup as they use the flimsy disposable cups around the pool, which is decent for hygiene but I prefer a cup that’s not going to warp as soon as I pick it up. We went to the Pepco shop up the road and bought some cups for 2 euros each The pool was quite cold which is good when it’s sunny to cool off but most of the time it was windy and when you climb out or pop the top part of your body out it was freezing. The pool could do with some cleaning and updating the tiles were all coming off and there were suncream/scum marks around the pool. There is a lifeguard on sight it may be a different one at different times but while we was there he didn’t look up from his phone. The sunbeds could do with being replaced as they looked weathered like they hadn’t been changed/replaced in a long time. Due to the wing the umbrellas around the pool were screwed into the ground. Which I liked as people couldn’t move them around. The pool towel station was only open from 9-12 which isn’t great compared to other hotels I’ve been too The sea it very wavey no good for young kids and even though this hotel is on the beach the sunbeds on the front are chargeable I don’t believe they were owned by the hotel; people tend to just take there towels and get an umbrella and go to the side The whole building could do with a paint I don’t believe this will platinum hotel for long A tui rep is on sight all days for a few hours if any questions arise
