Very dated, cleaned once in ten days

The rooms were a great size and the air con was fantastic. The room facilities were average, no iron and no option to rent. The sofa beds were not suitable for teenagers, very uncomfortable. The room cleanliness was poor, beds not made, bedding not changed, floors filthy. Cleaners came every day but not much seemed to get done unfortunately.

Asking a lot of money but services and accommodation is less than for a 3 stars. The studio is was expecting to be different but overall ok, cleaning part they will come and do the bed an change towels every 3 days. But lining is not changed, as we monitored as by mistake on a corner of the quilt we touched with sunscreen and that mark was all through the time of accommodation. When they changed the sheets they were stained, ypu wouldn't expect that on a 4stars hotel. Building wise where we were, on the apartments. Wall covering coming down cracks everywhere, lifts very old. Staff from reception not really understanding what you were talking with them even if they were very nice. The swimming pools and the waterpark, were nice and cleaned, lifeguards everywhere and I appreciated that very friendly and helpful when needing assistance. Restaurant very poor selection, we mainly had chips and salad as the meet wasn't on our expectation/taste, and the desert as well 2 cakes some jellies and mainly fruit. They had the option of \"a la cart\" restaurants that you could go once, they were 4 options, but having to book in advance, from a device near the main hotel entrance, we tried for 4 days before being able to book a table at one of them. But none of them are close to the hotel, all of them are at least 30 minutes walk or with a taxi. We went to a Greek tavern, but the set menue as made of meze and a little slice of cake that overall was ok. Children's activities were in the evening only, along with 2 or 3 other hotels, they had a stage and mini disco every evening. No other activities around the pool or at our hotel. With the amount of money I payed for this holiday my expectations were higher, and expected a proper 4 star not a barely 3. So overall disappointed, not to mention that transfer will not colect you if you are staying on the Anastasia apartments, they will colect only from the hotel. In our case they never even collected us as they didn't bother to come or to wait when we went to the main hotel to take it and left just as we got outside. Unacceptable and frustrating, and after that to come with laim excuses, and we had to get to the airport with a taxi so make sure you have some money left before leaving in case it happens the same to you. We ended up paying 75 euros to Larnaca airport. With costumer service it will be difficult to get in touch with the as you will call but automatically be redirected on a UK branch, or they will not be open or have someone to talk to. You can try the app and try your luck there but expect an answer in at least 30 minutes when you have an issue. I traveled with my daughter that is only 7 and to have to put her through this stress and see me upset, its not nice. If you book experiences from the app make sure you go and check the tickets as well, as they are advertising pick up from the hotel, its NOT. Its a pick up near by, we learned that the hard way after waiting, and when checking the tickets and seeing another pick up point and being to late for that, but if you try and call expecially in the morning you will find no one the telefon number will not work only after 10 o'clock european, unsure witch contry tho as we tried 10, and 11 the time in cyprus with no luck and the same you had to go on the app and expect someone to answer. Another frustrating time, and having to find solutions on your own as with the app its a constant wait for an answer. Do overall it wasn't a good time, the only accurate part was the swimming pools and waterpark, the rest no where near. So no I wouldn't advise that place. At least I know I wouldn't come back.

Not what we were expecting or were shown in shop

I actually thought i was staying in the actual Anastasia hotel but I was actually staying in the apartments next door but it was all one complex. There's wasnt much information on where the kids club was or that we could also use the marlita hotel facilities. We only heard about this through word of mouth from others that were staying in our hotel towards the end of the holiday. But over all the apartments were lovely and clean, food was lovely, the staff were very friendly, there was no sunbeds wars and the aqua park within the hotel/apartments was fantastic! I'd definitely recommend this place to others!
