We had one of the refurbished rooms at front of hotel. It was lovely room 309. Very modern ,plenty of room and overlooking the sea.

As we had booked a superior apartment we expected a settee / sofa in the lounge area . All we had was dining table and chairs which was not acceptable . We are of an age where we have arthritis in our joints and necks and expected a comfortable chair to sit on to watch the television and have a cup of tea . The dining chairs were very uncomfortable . We spoke to the hotel staff on the first morning and they explained that some rooms did not have settees and none were available . We also spoke to the TUI rep and could see that nothing was going to be resolved so we re-arranged the furniture to make our stay more comfortable . We moved one of the beds into the lounge so we could use it as a sofa in the day time.

Part I was in was a bit dated but can see improvements being made. Expensive as a lone traveller.
