    The grounds and buildings are good, the service is average, and the food is poor. No lifeguards at either pool which I would have expected considering the price of the holiday. The food was disappointing; The buffet was too small, with people nearly falling over each other trying to get food. The food choice was poor and repetitive. The Portuguese and Grill Restaurants were ok, but not particularly great. Drinks were good. Me and my son were electrocuted by an ice cream freezer, and when I told the barman he said 'yeah we know about it' which is absolutely unacceptable and dangerous. I had to convince them to turn it off, then they came and restocked it later that day and turned it back on again without it being fixed. When I challenged them they were more bothered about the ice cream melting rather than the risk of electrocuting a guest. I had to unplug it myself. This was all reported to Tui. Apparently they fixed it but a couple of days after it was turned back on I saw a staff member taking a cover off and touching different parts of the equipment under the cover to see if it electrocuted them so I don't even think they have fixed it. This is extremely poor and obviously very dangerous. Me, my wife and kids couldn't wait to come home towards the end of the holiday, mainly due to the poor food choices. Overall the kids had a good holiday but we won't return to this hotel.

    “Algarve - Adriana beach resort”

    Het was een geweldige vakantie. Een mooi hotel met alles op en aan. De Tui hostess (Liza) was één van de beste die we ooit gehad hebben, vol passie voor haar vak en ze wil het beste voor de klanten. En de Algarve is een enorm mooie streek, waar we met onze uitstappen van genoten hebben. Het minpunt is dat de transfers luchthaven en hotel niet meer standaard erbij zijn, zelfs schandalig dat er nog voor moet bijbetaald worden.

    Lots of positives: the resort was exceptionally clean, with beautifully maintained gardens. The food was good and, although—as with most all‑inclusive options—the choices became a little repetitive, everything was fresh and well presented. The entertainment team were engaging, fun, and always had something happening throughout the day. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided, and all staff were consistently polite, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to help. There were a few downsides: The resort is quite far from the main areas, and walking anywhere wasn’t really practical. The nearby roads had no pavements and were narrow, so we relied on Uber for most trips. The beach was beautiful, but access was via a long flight of wooden steps, which felt a bit precarious when navigating with a two‑year‑old. The biggest frustration was the sunbed situation. Unless you were up at the crack of dawn and had a towel on a bed by around 9am, every single one had already been taken. Despite these negatives, they didn’t spoil our holiday at all. The weather was fantastic, and we all had the best time.
