Rooms in a good location in relation to children's pool and plenty of space, clean and very good air conditioning.

I never complain about our holidays, I just put things down to experience as it is very hard to please everyone all of the time. However, I feel the need to voice my frustration regarding our checkin and checkout experience. Arrived at 00:15. We were the only guests who arrived at this time. No hotel staff for checkin, only the security guard. No welcome drink offered. We spent 45 minutes at checkin because the security guard couldn’t work the photocopier. We tried to help but eventually requested she take a photo of our passports so we could get to our room. At 01:00, the security guard escorted us to our room but she had trouble entering as the door entry card didn’t work. The door was not fully operational when we went to bed. We reported it to the reception staff at breakfast time. Checkout day. We asked for an extension as our flight home was at 23:35. We were told the hotel was full yet their website showed they had at least 3 vacant rooms. We paid the full cost of €199 for an additional night in a new room - even though we weren’t staying overnight or having breakfast - so that we could have a more reasonable checkout time. Moving forward, I would like to see travel agents have a full on discussion with hotels about a fairer checkout time for holidays or come up with another solution. To arrive at our hotel after midnight, when we should’ve arrived on the same day we flew out, was disappointing, especially when we got through passport control and baggage claim so speedily. Then to not get a room to allow us to fully enjoy our last full day, even for a small charge, put a damper on our holiday.

Room was clean and provided fresh towels daily (if required), also provided pool towels as well as big bottle of water (free) every day. Liked the option of sun loungers & table & chairs on terrace area.
