I have been travelling four times a year for the last 25 years and never stayed in a place that does not brush the balcony mop the floors or provide at least a kettle and basic cutlery.

Very clean and comfortable with lovely views

The pool and bar area is lovely, well kept and comfortable. The rooms are sparse and quite drab certainly not boutique. There are no drawers, nowhere to hang wet swimwear, etc outside. However the shower area is good with plenty of hot water. Getting into the hotel is a nightmare -at the back (where we were dropped off) there is a big uneven drop, it is dark and then gravel path followed by very uneven crazy paving, none of which is good to walk on or wheel a suitcase. At the front there are steps going up to the pool area, followed by more steps to the reception. You would then need to use more steps to get to the rooms, no good for anyone with mobility difficulties. The hotel has a pontoon at the front for yachts to moor and the owner encourages the sailors to use the hotel facilities. This severely impacts on the hotel guests at times; on one day we counted almost 30 people from various yachts all having breakfast which meant there were no tables for hotel guests. They also use the pool and sun beds. The hotel owner is lovely and very helpful.

The TUI Transfer / Coach dropped us at the rear of the property which meant we had a long slog across stony / rocky paths to find reception. The hotel should have a much larger sign (even just a big arrow) so we can see the correct direction to take. There was a board detailing our room numbers but we completely missed this as no-one (say an on board TUI Rep) could have told us. Also the hotel needs to make a ramp of some sort to enable us to get our cases onto the drive. (We had to lift them up a very large step and down a rocky ,uneven, untreated pathway) |Also no lighting if arriving in the evening other than this, the hotel was lovely. Beautiful pool, large bedrooms and freshly cooked breakfast (although some variety would have been welcome after 10 days of just bacon and eggs

Friendly hotel..staff...but so many things need repairing..updating etc. Not big major things...but simple issues that could be easily fixed....and hotel could do with a lick of paint. Pool area nice...clean etc...but to many stairs,steps to carry..pull suitcases up and down. Shame to write a negative review...but would be a much better, nicer experience for a little bit of money & maintainence!
