The accommodation was fine but was very disappointed as the Aircon was not working properly from the start, this was reported twice to the desk and once to the TUI rep but nothing was resolved.

The hotel itself is OK, the room we were given as an accessible room was acceptable, but needed a couple of additions - the bathroom had no shower chair, no towel rail near the basin, and there were no shelves to put any toiletries on - only the basin top where everything would get wet. The wardrobe wasn’t deep enough to have a side-to-side rail, and not wide enough for two lots of clothes to hang without overlapping, where they got in the way of the sliding doors. For some reason, we were only given one hand towel most of the time (instead of two), sometimes the cups were not washed and the tea, milk etc not replaced. Also we were told that the drinks in the mini fridge would not be replaced once they had been consumed - the first time I have encountered this money-saving measure. The hotel was too crowded, so we were never able to get a sunbed by either of the main pools, but found a grassy area near the adult pool, which unfortunately up quite a difficult incline for someone old pushing someone else in a manual wheelchair. The adult pool had no accessible toilets nearby, so we had to endure the slope several times a day. There was only one outdoor accessible toilet, and this was too far away for us. The only other one was in the main lobby, which was not exclusively for disabled use, so was often occupied by able bodied people when I wanted to use it. Thankfully there was an adults-only part of the restaurant, as the main part was dark, dingy and noisy. Most of the entertainment happened in the bar and the theatre area, where the high sound levels clashed with each other, and for me, made being in the theatre unbearable. This didn’t really matter much, as the theatre shows were not particularly good anyway. Being in the main bar became too noisy, with television football matches, music and children running around and shrieking, all at the same time. We were lucky that a helpful dining room supervisor showed us the staff lift that went up to the adults only bar, which was quieter ( but still within sound range of the theatre). This access was not disclosed to everyone, although it certainly should be for disabled people.

I have to give a huge shout out to the entertainments team whom my daughter absolutely loved every minute spent with them. Kids club was incredible and the evening entertainment my daughter couldnt wait to take part in both every single day. I cant remember each of their names but they were incredible please pass on this to them they made my 4 year olds holiday. It was great to see Katie (and I cant remember the other girls name) again also as she was part of the entertainment team we had at Tropical in Turkey last year. To share some feedback with you - We had a couple of issues on our holiday whereby by partner was suffering from some pretty intense heat rash on her arms and my little girl on our last evening fell off the bed, banged her head and had a huge lump. On the evening that my daughter fell, we rushed down to reception for some aid and were not given any real help to get to a doctor / hospital. We asked and they said theres a hospital 5 mins away, we asked them to tell us where as we had no idea where it was and they just said to get a taxi outside. I asked them to take us to the taxi and explain but they didnt follow. We ended up at a private hospital which cost us 24 Euros return and when we arrived were told they wont see her as they dont have a paediatrician and we would need to go to the general hospital. In the end we didnt end up going but this could have been avoided had the hotel given us some form of assistance in understanding our options rather than relying on a taxi driver who spoke very little English. Most concerning for me and the reason why I would not return to this hotel is that throughout the week we were there we asked the hotel team for a cold compress (for my wifes arms) and most importantly when we arrived back with my daughters injury and the team did not have one. A cold compress is a very basic component of a first aid kit so i can only draw conclusion that there is no first aid kit on site. We were advised to go and ask the bar team for some ice but with the heat outside this resulted in us needing to get ice from the bar every 10 - 15 minutes as it melted and every time we had to explain to them why as they didnt want to \"give away ice\" that was meant for the the guests drinks. It wasnt a very pleasant experience, I would have to walk to two bars for ice every time i needed some as they would only provide a quarter of a cup. I also asked for some form of cloth / tea towel from the kitchen to wrap the ice in which we were told they dont have anything like that, I find it hard to believe a kitchen the size of the one at this hotel does not have one cloth / napkin that they can spare for injuries in the absence of a first aid kit. We did enjoy our holiday especially with the entertainment team but the lack of basic medical facilities on site means that we would not return to this hotel. I dread to think how the team would handle a more serious injury to a child when they are not equipped to handle a head bump. I certainly wouldnt risk this in the future with my daughter.

Here’s a polished version of your review: We recently stayed at this hotel and, overall, I would say it’s more of a 4-star hotel than a 5-star. The biggest disappointment was the food. It was very repetitive, often only lukewarm, and there wasn’t much variety. On one occasion, I ordered an omelette that wasn’t cooked properly in the middle, which was disappointing. The lifts in the main building are also far too small for the number of rooms. At busy times, we were waiting 15–20 minutes just to get downstairs, which became very frustrating. The sunbed situation really needs improving. Although the hotel states that towels can’t be placed on sunbeds before 8:00 am, this rule wasn’t enforced. If you waited until after 8:00 am as instructed, there were often no beds available because people had already reserved them earlier. The entertainment was okay, and the highlight of our stay was the kids’ club. My little girl absolutely loved it, and the staff were fantastic with her. They made her feel very welcome and catered to her really well. Overall, we still had a nice holiday, but I don’t feel this hotel lives up to its 5-star rating. With improvements to the food and better management of the sunbeds and lifts, it could offer a much better guest experience. As it stands, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

It was a very nice hotel, we were only there for a couple of days but the pool and activities available were excellent. Volleyball being a firm favourite, Food was very nice with a good range of options for all meal times. Drinks package brilliant and good value especially with the offer of cocktails. Very baby friendly, with good kids activities
