    Hotel lovely following the improvements- lovely room and nice touch providing goodies as we were return visitors. Bar and restaurant staff excellent. Drinks very good. Food not so good and nowhere near as good as on our previous visits. Only sour note - there were no issues at all in getting sun beds in the morning. Out of the blue part way through the holiday the hotel imposed a rule (posters put up) that sun beds could not be used before 10am! Obviously everyone ignored this as what else is there to do except lie by the pool. On the first day of this regime my partner and I were sat on 2 sun beds from around 8:15am. At 9am we went for breakfast- as I sat down with my food I spotted some maids with my towels and stuff - they had waited for people to go for food then swooped in to confiscate people’s things from the sun beds. This meant for the rest of the holiday my partner and I could not have breakfast together and had to eat alone or risk the hotel staff removing our towered - as they did for numerous guests which was a shame. I completely agree people should not get up early to “reserve” sun beds by leaving towels on them then going again. - but this went too far to address a non existent problem. On the day ours were taken there were loads of spare sun beds - we had simply wandered up at 8:15 found 2 beds and started to use them - then gone to breakfast 45 minutes later. Very strange behaviour by the hotel.
