    We had booked a deluxe double room adult area. This was not our perception of a deluxe room. We are long standing clients of TUI and have grown accustomed to a certain level and standard of room offered regrettably the The Azul fell very short of our expectations. We had to change rooms 3 times due to a damp and mouldy smell in the rooms. We eventually ended up in a room that was much more to your standards. However we had to sign a waiver to say we would not complain. The staff were excellent and did all they could to rectify the situation. The hotel is very very tired and needs a lot of money spending on the property. This is no way a five star accommodation and TUI should not be advertising it as such. Rooms are outdated public areas are damaged and needs repair. AC does not work in the main bar nor properly in one of the restaurants. Outdoor seating is broken and mouldy similarly seating indoors is broken or badly stained and generally uncomfortable. The beach however was outstanding and was kept beautifully clean by the staff. The staff in general were very hardworking and helpful and always took time to chat and say hello. 5 Stars. Food and drink limited but very good what was available.

    Booked into swim up room #21009 which was dreadful, no privacy with bridge across the pool. Had to be transferred to another room.

    Our room was very damp and in a state of needing repair in the bathroom and outside area. I complained about the damp, so they changed our bedding, didnt make any difference, damp again. The ceiling in the shower room collasped therefore we were moved to anothe room which was much better,
