    The staff where incredibly rude, we came across one or two that where so lovely but the remaining where very rude at our hotel. We had staff eye roll, throw their arms in the air and walk away from our table when we asked questions on what options of potato they had. The restaurants at the hotel were very poor! The food was inedible apart from two restaurants : steak house and Indian were good. The rest were really bad. There was also no air con. Working or on in any of these restaurants which made it very uncomfortable. The drinks throughout the hotel where poor, the staff didn’t seems trained and just ‘made up’ their serving sizes of alcohol to mixer. No two drinks were the same even if you ordered the exact same drink it would be different everytime. The beach felt very unsafe, on our first day my partner had his phone taken from him and a monkey put on him without any consent, then the man demanded 250 dollars from us! The ‘security’ on the beach did not help and did not stop any outside parties walk on our hotel beach to pester the guests and this meant we could not relax with out being asked for money continuously for services we did not want! The bathrooms especially in the lobby were dirty, the bins were not emptied regularly enough, which meant soiled tissue paper was left over flowing with no lid on the bins. The buffet had the best food, however the service was again very poor, staff seemed to be unhappy serving you and didn’t take any care and most mornings coffee was all over our table/plates because the staff dumped the hot coffee into the cups instead of taking time and care. We was always told where to sit in the buffet, often because they wanted to keep the far end of the dining space clean and ‘untouched’ which meant we was often sat at used and unset tables. Where we had to wait 15/20 minutes for a knife and fork. The coffee shop we had high hopes for, as it was a dedicated shop for coffee only. However the coffee was awful, the drinks were served within 2 minutes, and were not made to order or fresh - thieve had better coffee out of a sachet at home. Again when we said thank you, we were ignored, no eye contact and staff just talked between themselves in their own language. We felt as if we were a nuisance for asking to be served. The cleaners were lovely, very polite and kind - however the floor in the our room was never hoovered it was only mopped so we continuously had sand and bits stuck to our feet in our room. The furniture in our room was stained and old, the bed linen and towels has holes in, and stained - which was very off putting. Although they may be clean the stains had ruined the sheets and towels - I would expect these to be thrown away not given back out to guests. Especially when we had not stained them.

    This is our 2nd time at the resort and we love the fact that you can book on the app all the restaurants on the resort. (Every nights a date night )On the down side the hotel is looking a bit tired but we believe it is in the cards after the aquamarine is refurbished next yr . The music and the Americans can be a bit loud round the pool but that’s the beauty of the hotel being on the beach as you can get a break in the beach and at the beach bar.

    Hotel is not 5 star, some areas need painting and refurbishment. The mini bar was terrible. Some days we did not basic coffee and creamer supplies The lobby buffet food was often put out more than once, one morning had to wait 20 minutes for bacon so the rest of my breakfast was cold A lot of the staff didn't want to be there. Sometimes you would specifically ask for a drink and say no fruit or ice and you would get both, the staff were not listening.
