    As stated food and drinks were generally low standard. Definatly not 5 start. Wine was a diagrace. None of their specialities were special. Main buffet can be good but need to sort out consistence with food temp. Staff all lovely.

    Our stay at Bahia Principe Explore Fantasia was a mixed experience. The room was excellent: clean, spacious, and well equipped for our family. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. We needed oat milk for our toddler in the evenings, and although it was not available at the buffet, the staff made sure to provide some for us each night. This was a thoughtful touch, and every member of staff we encountered was wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the Asian restaurant and would rate it highly. Unfortunately, it was the only à la carte restaurant we were able to try, as the others were fully booked for the entire week, even before we checked in. This was the biggest issue during our stay. Apart from that one meal, we ate at the buffet every day, which became repetitive. The buffet was similar to what you would expect at most all-inclusive hotels and was nothing particularly special. The signage around the resort also needs significant improvement. It was often unclear where facilities were located, including how to reach the lower section of the resort by lift. The lift serving the S2 floor was extremely slow, which was frustrating. Guests should be given clearer directions on arrival, as the lack of signage made getting around unnecessarily difficult. Another serious concern was the condition of the flooring around the swimming pools. There were numerous loose and cracked tiles throughout the poolside areas, creating a significant safety hazard, particularly in a family-focused resort. The staff cleaned these areas every day, so the issue was clearly visible, yet the damaged tiles remained. The swimming pool was also extremely cold in October and did not feel suitable for toddlers. Evening entertainment for children was another disappointment, as there was very little free entertainment available. The shows were already fully booked before we had the opportunity to reserve them, although it was a nice touch to receive one complimentary show. The beach views were stunning, although the gate security was inconsistent. The gate was advertised as being locked until 7:00 a.m., but this did not appear to be the case. Overall, the resort has excellent rooms and genuinely helpful staff, but the restaurant booking system, poor signage, slow lift, damaged poolside flooring, cold pool, and limited children’s entertainment significantly affected our experience.

    “Das Hotel war im Großen und ganzen ok.”

    Das Hotel war ok jedoch würde ich nicht nochmal hingehen. Das Essen war nicht lecker und es waren Kakerlaken. Der Service war wirklich sehr schlecht. Unser Gepäck würde nicht zum Zimmer gebracht, weil wir Verspätung hatten und erst um 22:30 Uhr Hotel ankamen. Das Gepäck von einem Gast der im Rollstuhl saß wurde um 6 Uhr morgens nicht abgeholt, weil das Personal erst an 7 Uhr arbeiten würde. Wir haben diejenige geholfen. Wir haben nach einem extra Decke gefragt und nach drei Nächte und mehrere Wiederholungen haben wir erst eine extra Decke erhalten. Sehr schade!
