The whole hotel was beautiful and well maintained but the horror came when we got to the room. Used and dirty bed linen from the previous customer, high dust everywhere and the handle on the kettle at the Coffee Station was broken and wires were sticking out of it. We reported cleanliness problem at the reception, housekeeping fixed it but I assist the lady and wait almost 40 minutes before she even comes, and honestly leaving dirty bed linen after the previous customer is outrageous. The lady did not understand me because there was a language barrier. The room was in overall poor and dirty condition and had never seen deep cleaning. The staff were generally pleasant and smiling and the gentleman at the reception, with whom I mostly came into contact every day, was very helpful, the next day he asked me if everything was okay, but after the initial very pleasant feeling when we first arrived at the hotel and then saw what was there in the room, it really negatively affected the holiday. Which I'm sorry, because as I already mentioned the hotel was overall very nice.

Was allocated a poor room on night 1. Had a note on day 2 to go to reception to be offered to move to a better room (without us complaining) which ww should have had the room from our checkin so was a faff to repack and move bearing in mind we were on a 1 week holiday. Lifts not very good - keypad not working on kne lift, the other was scary. Male staff in restaurant rude towards female customer needing guidance on gluten free options at each meal

The hotel itself was ok but the bathroom was dated and mouldy. The food was repetitive and never warm, we watched fresh food coming out of the kitchen and it was cold already. The man on reception refused to give us our full deposit for our towels and shouted in my face when asked about it. Apparently we were entitled to use some of the sister hotel’s facilities but we were not made aware of this until we got home and the hotel Manager responded to my trip advisor review
