The whole experience was fantastic from starters to finish. The welcome we received to the departure.Staff were warm and friendly throughout. The food was exceptional.being able to drink water for free at the evening meal was a bonus.

Hotel clean and food good but some areas need a bit of tlc

Family-run traditional hotel with very friendly and helpful staff - they really made us feel welcome. Good food for breakfast and dinner; nice indoor pool; central location. Fridge in room was good for chilling drinks.

While the welcome from the staff was good, the room was very \"tired\" and fairly cramped. The noise from outside kept us awake until 4am, which for a Lakes and Mountains hotel was unusual, in our relatively extensive experience. We asked to move rooms, which was accommodated on the condition that we gave them a good review on Trip Advisor! Our new room was considerably better. The food was no better than adequate and the dining area was generally hot and stuff due to there being no windows that could be opened. The singular positive aspect of the hotel was its swimming pool, which was a welcome in the hot weather. Having been to Austria many times with TUI over a 12 year period, this was by far the worst hotel we have experienced.

Hotel was closed when we arrived and we were told 'oh, you know the hotel is closed' which of course we didn't. As there were only 6 people (friends) for the first few days staff and food choices were limited. The hotel was dated and we didn't have keys for the hotel as we were staying in the annexe - this caused small issues with accessing the actual hotel for meals etc, there wasn't entertainment on the first Wednesday, no buffet nor swimming pool and spa as advertised although the hotel arranged for us to use the spa of a neighbouring hotel that was very nice. Although dated the rooms were spacious and very clean. We had some difficulty with waiting on staff but Mrs Berger and Mike on reception were very helpful
