Lovely room. Cleaning/refreshing service only by specific request. Had to ask for bin bags and toilet rolls. Told to leave rubbish outside of room door

The breakfast was basic but plentiful. Had a superior room at the front which had lovely views. This was still quite basic but had everything we needed for our stay and was clean.

Reception staff very nice, my eife has to follow s gluten free diet we were told it was no problem at breakfast, however there was nothing gluten free to be found, so we had to buy our own gluten free conflakes and bread from a supermarket for every breakfast.

The information on the booking to say that I wasn't the Booker. I was told this wasn't actually our hotel, which was very, very worrying. When I arrived but then realised they'd put my friend's name. As the main Booker, the rooms had the beds put together even though it was supposed to be a superior twin room. The it was very basic, and there was quite a bit of noise due to the fact that there was a coach load or 2 coach loads of school children who were staying at the hotel. It was rammed in the morning because everybody was getting ready at 7 or 8 to have breakfast. The breakfast was extremely basic and simple. There wasn't any fruit except oranges cut up and some raisins. There was one hoster for a 150 people, and there was a queue. The 1 day there was nowhere to sit and even the staff looked like they were struggling to cope with the volume of a number of people. There was porridge and cornflakes and ham cheese. And a few of the bits and pieces, but it was really, really poor. The juice that they hard was just orange juice, which was very weak. I didn't have it the bedrooms. Although clean the bats were very very small.And the pillows were rather lumpy.I had to ask 42 pillows because there was only one.The kettle kept boiling out, but there was a nice view.
