    The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The on site spa also far exceeded my expectations and the staff recommended treatment were perfect. The evening entertainment was mixed is quality but good overall. Great location and services available.

    Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable and clean, and had a mini pool feature around the balcony area. There was a conveniently placed water refill station just down the corridor. The food was incredible - there are different themes each night at the main restaurant, a good selection of high-quality food options, and there is a welcome drink at every dinner. We particularly enjoyed the delightful desserts. Outdoor seating areas were very pleasant. The drinks were self-service. Restaurant staff were very nice and hardworking, particularly Irine and Anastasia. There was also a good selection of all-inclusive drinks, including cocktails. The staff at the main Notos bar were incredible, especially Tito and Stella. They definitely added a lot to the holiday with their warm personalities (and, of course, the amazing drinks). The staff at the pool bar were also very hardworking. During our stay, we also treated ourselves to two treatments from the Aegeo Spa within the hotel. The Deep Tissue massages were performed by Vilte and Ioanna with incredible skill and provided a great sense of relief. We decided to come back for another massage, the Cretan Longevity Ritual, performed by Amandeep and once again Ioanna. This one was also great and left us feeling very relaxed. The staff at the reception were also very friendly, especially Eveline, who was very helpful and lovely to speak with. There are two factors stopping me from giving this hotel a 5* rating - the lack of sunbeds on the beach (sunbeds must be rented out for the day from the local bars/hotels), as well as the lack of daytime activities available at the hotel (e.g. yoga, aqua-aerobics, sports etc, which are usually available at 5* hotels). Additionally, shower and changing facilities on the day of departure were sub-par for a 5* hotel - they consisted of one shower and some toilet cubicles, with a lack of privacy. I would also like to note, that TUI, the representative at the hotel was incredibly unenthusiastic and made no effort to provide information about the surrounding area. Both TUI flights were delayed by one hour. The transfer on the way back to UK, was delayed by 20 minutes. The driver was on the phone for the entire over an hour drive to the airport. No info. The TUI rep at the airport, came to us for 1 minute, gave incorrect info about the check-in desks and totally disappeared. I have never experienced such unsatisfactory service from TUI rep in the last 15 years. Aside from that, would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to unwind.

    “Unterkunft kein 5* Niveau”

    Von einem 5* Haus erwarte ich mir ehrlich gesagt mehr. Super Fitnessraum aber keine Desinfektionsmittel und keine Handtücher zum Trainieren. Die Handtücher muss man vom Bad mitnehmen und diese werden nur alle 2 Tage getauscht. Ausserdem passt Preis-Leistung im Spa-Bereich leider überhaupt nicht. Massage war ok aber den Preis nicht wert. Spa-Damen sind außerdem sehr aufdringlich. Zu wenig Liegen im Poolbereich. Essen war super und auch das Personal im Servicebereich und bei der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Dennoch würden wir diese Unterkunft kein zweites Mal wählen.
