This was not a 5* hotel. The swim up pool was dirty - water and the tiling. The gym was tiny, with very little useful equipment and smelt. The meat at dinner was mostly overcooked and dry, with very little variety. Breakfast was great though. The staff we excellent, from checking in, to waitresses, cleaners, the Maitre D, bar staff. All were very friendly, approachable and spoke great English.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly, efficient and helpful. Lovely pool with sufficient sunbeds. Very small gym. Pretty good location on the edge of the village. Beautiful church very close which rang its bells two mornings per week at 7am! Otherwise a quiet place to stay. Breakfast was plentiful with a good a la carte menu as well as the buffet. Dinner was buffet style but never very warm. Cold plates and lukewarm food is not a good combination. I did remark on it to the receptionist. Alcohol charges were a bit steep. A good library.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very pleasant. The sunbeds were located on a grassed lawn which was watered overnight causing the grass to be waterlogged and muddy which was unpleasant. There was not enough drawer space in our room. Only two drawers but there was ample space for a small cabinet or chest of drawers in the room. It was nice having bathrobes in the bathroom. The spa was also lovely. Unfortunately as our return flight was an evening one and we had to check out of our room by 11.00 am we needed to use the courtesy shower room which was awful. This could definitely do with an upgrade of any sort - a light that stays on and a lock on the door would be a start !

Perfect staff, really helpful. Small hotel experience ideal.
