It was not suitable for self-catering as facilities were pretty limited, having only two electric rings and a broken microwave. Couldn't read any of the legend on the cooker controls, and the cutlery etc. was minimal. Shower kept flooding into the toilet area as the drain couldn't cope with moderate water flow. Luckily we didn't need the put-you-up as it was clearly falling apart.

Cay beach is value for money, we have been many times and know what to expect for a 3 star accommodation.

Like most reviews point out it is run down and could do with a lick of paint and bit of maintenance but the staff are excellent, the cleaners are reliable and the accommodation is in the perfect location.

Apartment complex overall was good, however the apartment itself was in need of some tlc. Not especially clean, broken cupboard doors, fridge shelves missing and a hairdryer which didn't work and was never fixed in the week I was there despite several reports to reception. This is not acceptable even for more basic accommodation. It was a shame as the apartment itself was lovely, quite spacious with a big patio area but the overall state of it let it down. If renovated it would be beautiful.
