    Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the standard expected from a 4-star Platinum all-inclusive resort. We arrived at around 10 pm and explained that it was our first visit. Instead of someone showing us to our room, reception simply gave us a piece of paper with the room number and left us to find it ourselves. We spent around 20 minutes searching in the dark before having to return and ask for help. Communication with staff was also difficult. Although some employees claimed to speak English, they often struggled to understand even basic questions. The food was absolutely terrible, easily some of the worst we have experienced in a hotel. We have stayed in 3-star hotels with food that was ten times better. Even at the à la carte restaurant, the steak we were served was so tough that it was impossible to cut or chew, and I had to leave it uneaten. The drinks were equally disappointing, with glasses filled with four or five ice cubes and only a tiny amount of alcohol, leaving the drinks tasteless once the ice melted. The wine selection was also very poor. The only positive aspect was the hotel’s large, spacious grounds and the beautiful views. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations. Overall, this was a very disappointing holiday experience. The quality of the food, drinks and service simply does not justify the 4-star Platinum all-inclusive rating. We would not choose this hotel again and would not recommend it to others.

    This hotel's condition is precisely the same as when we visited in 2018. At the moment, condition-wise it does not merit a 4 star rating. Near the location of our room there were huge cracks in the structure on the walkways. As though there has been subsidence occurring. It all looks very tired and in need of investment and upgrade.

    The place is falling apart and dangerous! Water coming through the ceiling, in two out of three of the rooms, ants nest in one of our rooms my daughter slipped and fell in her room due to water leaking through the ceiling her ankle bruised and swollen, bruised legs and the attitude from Tui staff was well did you go to the doctor? and its doubtful you will receive any money back which she did not ask for anyway! and also nothing will be done because they are closing in three weeks anyway for a two year refurbish, this hotel should never have been advertised as a 4 star platinum absolutely misleading if this is Tui standard then it doesn’t say a lot. They know it’s being closed for two years because of the work that needs doing but quite happy to continue to put customers in danger. My family and I always use Tui to travel and I normally don't even look elsewhere but after this experience I will be reluctant
