Well maintained clean helpful staff we arrived late missed dinner hotel put sandwiches snacks in our room for us

The difference between the Eleni hotel and a hostel was there was no bunk bed in the room. Very disappointed with the room. Unable to use balcony as there was no shade or umbrella. There was no lift so had to go up and down several stairs. Could not use tv in the room. Overall worse hotel I have ever stayed at

Lovely place to go to if you want a small hotels

We arrived at the hotel tired after travelling from the IW. We had paid for a Seaview room so expected something quite nice for a 4 star hotel. The room we were allocated was really small just an open hanging rail, a small vanity unit with one drawer with a hairdryer. There was nowhere to store clothes only the hanging rail. We had missed dinner but the hotel put a cheese and ham sandwich on horrible white bread and a green apple in the fridge. I don’t eat meat so couldn’t eat it, my husband tried it and threw it in the bin. When I saw the bathroom I was appalled, the small shower cubicle had a build of of mould and residue all around the edges and on the tiles to the point I wouldn’t use it. We went straight back to reception to complain and request a better room. Apparently there wasn’t one available and we were told to go back in the morning. The night we spent in that room was horrible. We were right opposite the entertainment area which did stop at 11pm. However other guest stayed outside talking and laughing until gone 3am. The following day we were offered a second room which we accepted because it was our only choice. This room only had a side Seaview but was slightly bigger than the first room, the shower was a walk in shows and cleaner than the first but not really acceptable for 4star. There was still no drawer space only hanging and two small drawers in the vanity unit. We could only hang clothes the rest had to stay packed in our suitcases. It offers tea and coffee making facilities but when we ask d for the tea and milk to be replenished we were told it was only done once. The only redeeming factor were the waiting staff who worked exceptionally hard in the heat whilst remaining cheerful. Would we stay there again? Absolutely not.

The room was lovely and air conditioning good and was clean. The beach front loungers were a god send as was not able to get by the pool once during our stay due to sun bed situations. Even though signs were up. Hotel did not follow their own rules Again not able to see any of the entertainment on any of evenings as no tables avaliable.
