    The hotel was prefect for kids. The splash park kept them entertained for days. Staff were there cell excellent and we all felt safe and taken car of

    The hotel is in a great beach front location in a quiet purpose built tourist location. Its a bigger hotel than we would usually opt for but it never felt over crowded. As it was half term there were a lot of children running about so it was noisy at times. The room was fine and was clean and functional. It was a little dated but worked well for us. The view of the sunsets over Portugal was amazing! Hotel staff were always helpful and friendly. We had all inclusive, but didn't make the best use of it as we also ate out and are not big drinkers. The breakfast was good - there was enough choice and long enough hours to make sure you could be lazy and still have breakfast. Dinner service, although \"themed\" each night did feel a bit samey. The food was also mostly luke warm and not hot. There was plenty of choice again, but not always that appetising to be honest. We rented bikes one morning to cycle the forest trail. These could have done with an upgrade and regular serving as we had problems with both of them (also an option of electric bikes and helmets would have been good). The drinks token thing is not too tricky once you get used to it, but drinking out of plastic beakers does feel a bit like primary school.

    I got food poisoning and spent the last couple of day of my holiday stuck in bed! Constantly back and forth to the bathroom for obvious reasons and the staff wouldn’t allow my husband to bring me soup to our room, therefore I had nothing to eat for almost two days before we left. Not a great experience!
