“Hotel in Top-Lage”

Das Globales América ist ein ordentliches, vor nicht allzu langer Zeit renoviertes 4-Sterne-Hotel mit einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist spektakulär.

My accommodation experience was disappointing and fell below the standard I expected from a hotel advertised as 4-star when I booked. On arrival, I found staining on the bed sheet, which had to be changed by housekeeping. However, the cleanliness concerns extended beyond the bedding, including the divan base, surfaces, sockets, bathroom, floor and chair. I also experienced issues with the room telephone not working. Although the initial bedding issue was addressed, I did not feel that the overall cleanliness of the room was acceptable. I expected a clean, hygienic and well-maintained room, particularly for an all-inclusive holiday. The food was also disappointing, with limited variety and choice throughout my stay. Many of the same dishes appeared repeatedly, with only minor changes or meals alternated between different days. I expected a wider selection of dishes and more variety, particularly for an all-inclusive hotel. Even the cheese selection was very limited, which added to the overall feeling that the food options lacked choice. The hotel’s location was also inconvenient. I had to rely on buses to reach locations with a decent choice of shops, cafés and places to explore. This meant additional travel and planning whenever I wanted to go somewhere outside the immediate area.
