Okej för det priset.

När vi kom till flygplatsen på Rhodos blev jag väldigt glad över att se en TUI-representant stå där med TUI-flaggan. Eftersom det var vår första resa med TUI kändes det extra tryggt. Hon gav oss all information och vägledning vi behövde och följde oss hela vägen till bussen. På hotellet träffade jag också en TUI-representant som gav oss bra information och vägledning. Stort tack för den fina servicen, all hjälp och er gästfrihet!

“Hvad skal jeg sige”

Hvad skal jeg sige? I dette tilfælde lyver billeder Big time. De billeder der er på tui er ********** ikke det som møder en når man ankommer. Gammelt og slidt hotel Jow vist all inklusive men seriøst der er 5 pool’s 1 bar som ligger helt oppe ved hovedebygningen hvor musikken er så høj at det ********** ikke er rart at ligge der, drikke vare jo du må tag et plastik bære og hælde sodavand eller øl i. Men hva pokker hjælper det når den er fordampet inden du når helt ned i den anden ende af hotellet til din liggestol. Maden er heller ikke noget at skrive om ihvertfald ikke hvis man kommer for at smage det græske køkken. Det eneste positive der er og sige her er rengøringen gjorde et flot arbejde. Her kommer vi ihvertfald ikke til igen en anden gang.

Tend to cater mainly for families. Hardly any entertainment except for children. No televisions. For a solo traveller nothing to do.

The absolute highlight of the holiday was the service and restaurant team at the hotel. Michael the restaurant manager and the team were brilliant with our toddler and took great care of us for the full 2 weeks. The choice of food was a solid range every night and something for everyone. I dont eat pork but had lots of alternatives. Greek night was our favourite! The hotel cats are lovely & friendly. The room was spacious and the maid service was great, it just needed some TLC, we reported issues to reception who were lovely and the house keeper came to look promptly each time but there was no light switch for the balcony light at all (they looked) the sink plug was broken and a the shower grab bar was a little loose. It didnt ruin our stay by any means just a an area for improvement . Also there's a ring of grime around the pool? The water itself is clean and we saw it being maintained but it needs a good scrub to remove the green line around the edges, it comes off if you catch your nails on it which isn't too nice. Entertainment is a bit repetitive but when it's a family hotel aimed at kids that tends to be quite popular so they can learn the dances and join in. Even our toddler was picking it up by the end! 😊 Location is definitely helped by the shuttle bus to the beach but make sure you're not too tired for a 25 minute walk back if you miss the last one! Kolymbia itself is great because its in the middle of Lindos and Rhodes so you can see both and enjoy the beaches and little shops without going too far. If we visit this area again we will rent a car! We had to cancel an excursion after discovering public transport didn't actually go in the direction we were needing too and a taxi wouldn't be affordable. So if you dont drive be sure to plan ahead! Overall we had a great stay and would consider coming back for the quality of service and the lovely staff. Everything else is an easy fix.
