    This hotel might have been a five star hotel 25 years ago when it was built. I think it’s had one major renovation back in 2009 🤔 The hotel is looking tired and in need of some tender loving care! You don’t expect pools with tiles all loose on the pool floor. There was a good chance of someone injuring themselves and when pool staff were informed they just shrugged their shoulders. Also a lot of the sunbed cushions were ripped and in a very poor state. I think the hotel must have had lots of complaints about this because half way though our weeks stay all new pool sunbeds appeared as if by magic. The hotel rooms were cleaned daily but there was always a musky/mouldy smell in the bathroom And the fixtures and fittings in our room were looking a bit worse for wear The beds were very comfortable that was the only positive The buffet restaurant was ok at breakfast but in the evening it we had trouble finding a table for four even though we were a party of three as nearly all the tables were set out for couples. And there were a lot of family groups travelling together 🙄 As for the A La Carte restaurants when we arrived on Tuesday evening we were told to download the APP to book these restaurants. On Wednesday evening we ate in the Buffet restaurant and on Thursday midday we tried to go on the APP to book the A La Carte restaurants we wanted to eat in for the next five days of our holiday. The APP was showing no availability in any for the rest of our stay 😱 I went to hotel reception to query this and was told the same thing. After a lengthy discussion they miraculously found places in two restaurants but we had to eat at 9.00pm & 9.15pm. That was no problem but as we were the last table to be seated and when we arrived the restaurant was nearly empty they seemed to want as out as quickly as possible. After being told constantly the hotel was 100% full The A La Carte restaurants seemed that they were being kept to limited heads due to staffing issues. The Bay Lounge restaurant was not even open which you could expect off season but not in August! At check out on the final day we were presented with a bill for any extras we had that was not included in our all inclusive package. There was a extra bill on our invoice only for around eight euros but when we explained it was not ours as the signature was totally different they looked at us like we were lying and was not a pleasant experience. I then explained why would I have a bar bill for one beer and a water when it was included in our all inclusive package. Then they realised their mistake but this was not a five star experience Also this is the only all inclusive hotel when you check out this all inclusive package stops! So when you have a late flight and your in the hotel after 12 midday checkout you pay for everything even water! The hotel is definitely not a five star hotel any more and are living in the distant past. The hotel looked like it was working with skeleton staff and were under pressure to provide the service they couldn't. In general the staff were lovely but the reception staff need some customer service training. And as I said previously it was not the five star experience I was expecting.

    Fantastic hotel and the food was very good; the only disappointing aspect was on the All Inclusive package we had to fight to get a drink; there didn’t seem to be any pool side service.
