We paid for a Half Board Plus, we only got a Minus. The Hotel location was great, happy with the room, but many negative points. For example, the bed was not made. The food was literally \"disgusting\" and the extra price we paid for the \"Plus\" was not worth.

Very dated and we’re not willing to help with a proper bed after being given a fold up bed for the week that was really uncomfortable

The hotel is probably best described as tired. Needs updating both decor and upkeep wise. There were areas outside that needed attention ie cracked and missing plaster off the walls, the decking around the pool area was cracked on the edges and left stains on clothing and feet. Sunbeds were torn and ripped and numerous umbrellas were broken. A better use of signage would also help to inform guests of hotel rules and guidelines. The staff whilst friendly lacked the customer attention you would expect, unless you were one of the locals that used the hotel. Service in the al acarte restaurant was awful with one wait of over an hour and 20 mins to take our order even after asking twice. Overall we can not recommend this hotel until a lot of the little things are improved or changed, and as this was our second visit to Ohrid this hotel wasn’t a patch on the first one we stayed in.
