    the room itself was fine. very large bed and everything you would expect. the shower had a minor leak but was not a big issue. compared to liberty lykia in oludeniz where we stayed last year there were some aspects that could be improved. the main issue was the food was rather samey and lacked the barbeque meat and fish options that Liberty lykia were able to provide. A platinum hotel should have had a more varied high end menu. instead it appeared to cater primarily to children especially the breakfast options. the dessert options were large and varied. there was a lack of healthy drink options too. no green smoothies etc for beakfast. I'm sure most people would have been satisfied with the food, however compared to Liberty Lykia which would have been slighlty cheaper to stay at, it was a big let down.

    The Lake Houses were exceptional, just perfect - and a real upgrade style-wise from the main hotel complex. It was fabulous being based in the modern Lake Houses with access to all of the other amazing facilities of the wider hotel. I would recommend the Lake Houses to all families looking for an all-inclusive holiday, wanting direct access to the pool

    Lovely spacious clean room BUT the garden view room was a car park, road and roof view room. This was not specified on the booking information. You should be more up front about this. We complained and was told it is a garden view room because you can see a portion of garden, which was a bit patronising. Had I known I’d see an industrial view I could have accepted that, or upgraded, but to have it as a surprise that we couldn’t change wasn’t nice. Aside from that, the hotel itself is lovely and clean and the staff are really great. A big improvement would be to make it more eco friendly. There is a LOT of plastic waste and drinks served in throwaway cups when they could be in washable ones, not a lot of a recycling bins available for all of the water bottles etc. Just thinking about the waste generated by the hotel was something we found hard to stomach and would put us off going to this style of hotel again. But I really can’t fault the staff who work very hard and made the trip lovely.
