    Recommended

    Great hotel. Stayed before. Superb staff and rooms, great pool and facilities (only issue, toilet packed up, same as last time, noisy air con). Evening entertainment pretty basic.

    Although the hotel was lovely the food was poor. I’m coeliac and made sure to notify TUI before my departure but I really struggled in fact i’ve been back almost three days and I’m still suffering with cross contamination issues. I never felt safe eating there. The breakfast option was bran and cake otherwise I had to chance the breakfast buffet.Most good hotels have separate toasters etc.

    Significant drop in standards and value for money since last year. Evening meal options poor, served like warm and overcooked. No additional menu (like last year), had to eat out multiple times. Frequently empty food stations, even when early during food service. Very poor range of options. Room was not properly cleaned on arrival - bins not emptied and half drunk bottles in the mini bar, no body lotion in dispenser, dusty and bathroom in need of upgrade. Entertainment was of poor quality. Not enough staff in the restaurant and not particularly welcoming attitude from some. Not impressed with the bar - lacks atmosphere. Not impressed with number of corporate gatherings taking up dedicated areas of the bar and restaurant / pool snack bar. Disappointed not to have been provided with information about events in Bardolino such as the opera on a Wednesday evenings (we missed it as a result).

    Recommended

    We had a wonderful stay and were genuinely impressed by the hotel from the moment we arrived. Everything was absolutely pristine, beautifully maintained and clearly cared for, which made the whole experience feel very special. The rooms were fantastic, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the spa was brilliant. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and really added to the overall experience. The food was a particular highlight. The quality was excellent and there was so much to enjoy. We did find some of the menus a little difficult to navigate as not everything was also available in English, but the food served from the main bar area was outstanding and became a real favourite during our stay. The staff were fantastic throughout. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and attentive, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The whole team deserve a special mention because their warmth and service made such a difference to our stay. The location was good and provided a great base for exploring the surrounding area, while still giving us somewhere lovely to retreat to at the end of the day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Beautiful rooms, exceptional food, a brilliant spa and, above all, a genuinely wonderful team of people. We would happily return and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable TUI holiday.

    Food dreadful lacking in choice , taste as ndd dad served cold , Corporate groups took over the hotel They were loud. Drunk and extremely noisey .
