The lady on reception throughout the day seemed very stressed where as the evening and night staff were very helpful.

The hotel was well placed but very busy and well used

The Holiday its self was good and we went on holiday after just being married the day before however, there was a couple of issues. Firstly there was a slight delay ant Gatwick due to a plane being on the runway and no cabin manager causing a short delay in take off. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Airport, we queued due to the new security measures that have been introduced however, the fingerprint system went down resulting in a 3 hour delay meaning we did not arrive at our hotel until 22:30. During this delay the airport staff were not very accommodating and we was stood in a queue for 3 hours. After getting through security at 2100 hours local time, we travelled to our hotel and upon arrival, had to help the receptionist deal with a member of public who was trying to urinate in the reception. All of this unfortunately caused us to loose our evening in Amsterdam meaning we only had one full day in Amsterdam which was not the way we wanted our short honeymoon to start. The rest of the holiday was a great experience however despite only having one day.
