Prior to my departure I called the hotel by phone regarding an upgrade to the room and was told this was possible and was given the additional cost which I agreed with,on arrival they then told me this was not possible and proceeded to give us possibly the smallest room in the hotel. Once we saw the room we did not even our cases and proceeded to reception and told them it was not acceptable they the told us to return to reception next morning and the changed the room. I could not understand why they gave us the room in the first place as they knew there was a problem with it.

When we arrived we were put into a tiny room where the door opened onto the bed. There was no mirror and shower was very tired I assume this room would be used for staff. On the table was a welcome card for a Leo Ross so I can assume he didn’t want to stay in that room and they gave him ours as we were a late arrival. We asked to be moved and they moved us into one of their standard rooms on Sunday so although we got a room in two days we had to pack up the whole room and move which meant we lost a morning of our holiday. Plus the tiny room was very depressing. The food choice was very limited and most of the time the food containers were empty however when asked they were replenished but again on holiday you don’t want to hang around while they fill up food containers

4 star hotel but it’s become dated and needs refurbished public areas look good but looking closely you can see the difference

Wij komen nu al enkele jaren in dit hotel en zeker naar alle tevredenheid! Het is voor ons inmiddels een soort reünie geworden! Je ziet vaak dezelfde gasten terug die er de jaren ervoor ook al waren. Het eten en drinken voldoen volledig aan de kwaliteiten die bij een 4**** hotel horen. Live cooking 's avonds is echt uitstekend met verse kip, vlees en vis. Alle gerechten worden met zorg bereid, geen lopende bandwerk, waardoor je zo nu en dan even op je gerecht moet wachten. De ligging is prima met de achterzijde aan de boulevard. Playa de las Americas ligt op loopafstand; Costa Adèje is wel een stukje verder lopen! Het entertainment in de avond is niet altijd top. Het wisselt van top artiesten, die op festivals spelen tot erg matige optredens. Maar goed, dat is niet onoverkomelijk. Het personeel in het gehele hotel is erg vriendelijk en altijd bereid voor een praatje! De receptie is oplossingsgericht, waar we twee keer gebruik van hebben moeten maken. Al met al is het geen straf om hier een dag of 14 te verblijven. Dus, zoals al in de titel te lezen valt: tot volgend jaar!
