    “Nice Hotel and Helpful Staff.”

    A nice and pleasant Hotel on the waterfront of Ischia. Generally an older clientele of Pensioners. The Hotel is well maintained and Very clean! The staff are very helpful and informative. It must be noted for younger clientele that a swimming hat is required to use the pools. I don't think the fashion conscious would appreciate that rule. The hotel bar is clean and tidy but really lacks personality due to the age of guests who aren't really using the bar too it's capability. Breakfast is served very early from 7:30 until 9:45am....The older crowd are already ready to sit at 7am! It's an age thing 🤗 The buffet breakfast looks like it's been attacked by 8:15 due to the early birds catching their worms! Sunbeds are also being reserved by this same crowd. They can be left for sometime without a person sitting or lying on them, by the Italians and the Germans. The pool area is lovely with a nice bar and seating area. Outside of the hotel is a terrace, but unfortunately it's gets busy with the pensioners sitting there without a drink occupying these tables just for the sake of it. There are lots of improvements to made to satisfy a 4 Star Hotel. I have personally visited many 4 and 3 star Hotels in Italy, on land and the Islands to make a clear comparison. In all it does feel more like an old people's home. With an average age of 65-70. There quiet and chilled but it does feel a bit weird. More positives are they have a free beach at the far end, it's well organised and there are 2 beach bars to eat and drink. The beach and the water/sea are OK. It's close to the port and water quality is questionable. Good restaurants are close by and nice areas to walk plus the added bonus of parks to walk through in the evening. I was initially given room 104 on my arrival, it was shocking like a police cell. Underground without a window in the bathroom and a window to the underground near the pool but covered with a large plastic surrounding. I did complain and the next day I was moved to a room without balcony a zero views only onto the staff carpark. The director stated I had booked a single room...but I felt that shouldn't make a difference when it comes to quality of room offered. I without a doubt was the best dressed and higher end client in the Hotel but the accommodation would NOT convince me to return unfortunately. Ah! If you book Bed and Breakfast as I did, you are also overlooked at breakfast as unimportant. Half Board guest reserve there breakfast table. So I chose to eat outside on the front terrace. It really felt like a hospital or old people's home in the breakfast lounge. Personally I think this needs to be clarified. This Hotel caters for the over 65's. You have to decide what matters to you. All the above have Plus & Minus depending on the individual or couple.

    Das Hotel ist zwar nicht mehr das neueste aber sehr sauber, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und mega freundlich.

    “Reiseimpressionen Ischia”

    Urlaub insgesamt o.k. Ausflüge interessant und sehr gut durchgeführt. Transfers absolut zeitgerecht und mit guten Fahrzeugen durhcgeführt. Nette Fahrer und Reiseführer.
