    ❌ Nightmare Holiday – Shocking Accessibility, Rude Staff, and Dangerous Transfers We recently returned from a holiday at this Riu property, and it was easily the worst experience we have ever had. From the hotel standards to the travel logistics, it was completely unacceptable, especially as I was travelling with my disabled wife. • Shocking Airport Assistance: The assistance at the airport was the worst we have ever encountered. Despite knowing they were assisting a disabled passenger, staff expected my wife to stand up and step up onto the bus, which she physically could not do. To make matters worse, upon arriving back at Manchester Airport, we were left waiting over an hour just to disembark from the airplane. • Dangerous Hotel Transfer: The transfer from the hotel back to the airport was nothing short of terrifying. The driver drove aggressively, tailgating vehicles in front, constantly weaving across lanes, and slamming on the brakes at the last minute. Other drivers were continuously beeping their horns at him. It was a stressful, dangerous ride that we never want to experience again. • Poor Hotel Accessibility: The resort itself was highly unsuitable for anyone with mobility needs. We were placed in a room located far too away from the entertainment area and the larger swimming pool, making navigating the property incredibly difficult and impractical. • Dirty and Broken Rooms: Our room was filthy upon arrival, featuring marked walls, stray black hairs, and a dirty shower. On top of that, the room door lock kept breaking throughout our stay, which was a major hassle. • Unclean Pools: The main swimming pool was not cleaned regularly and was frequently left covered in dead insects. • Rude & Biased Staff: The hotel staff were incredibly rude. They openly ignored us to serve guests from other countries first, showing a blatant disregard for English guests. This holiday was stressful from start to finish. The lack of basic hygiene, shocking service, disregard for disabled passengers, and dangerous transport mean we will never recommend this hotel or booking experience to anyone

    It’s looking old and tired things falling off walls tiles broken, cleaning a bit hit and miss. Some staff terrible, no repeat customer perks at hotel even though we’ve had these before from Rui. Steak house booking shocking and tui poor service due to different colour bands

    When we arrived at the hotel. It was late. We had something to eat and went to bed in the morning. We woke up to a puddle so I spoke to reception and they sent up a cleaner later that evening another puddle so I reported it again. They sent up a cleaner again the following morning another puddle so I managed to speak to a member of management and after showing him a video of the room we both agreed it wasn’t acceptable so they offered me another room to go on view. I viewed that room and declined it as we had no view whatsoever so then they gave us another room to view which we accepted and took so after three days of back-and-forth reception and complaining Emmanuel our TUI rep at the Hotel managed to sort it all out for us
