Excellent hotel, great location, very clean and friendly helpful staff

“Sauber, aber alles etwas älter”

Die Sauberkeit war gut, das Mobiliar alt, aber funktionierte noch. Leider war TUI in diesem Hotel nicht vertreten. Nach Rückfrage bekamen wir ein Hotel in der Nähe genannt mit einem Ansprechpartner.

Accommodation was fairly basic but ok. The only disappointing part was we returned to our room just after 5pm to get ready for a dinner reservation only to find 2 people carrying out work in our room. We were unable to get changed and had to wait another hour downstairs until they finished. We were disappointed that we had no warning that this happening which we feel was very poor management.

Acceptable

The location was not in the centre of Teguise but we knew that before travelling. The walk in has plenty of restaurants and shops along the way. For those less able it would not be the place for them although there are taxis nearby. I was concerned that there was no air conditioning but that wasn’t a problem as the accommodation has a separate bedroom to the main seating area which had everything needed to make coffee, lunch etc. we were in a one bedroom twin with terrace. Sun beds on terrace and close proximity to the pool made it a very relaxing experience. We also booked the Serenity area in adult only Hotel Sirocco which was a tranquil space to unwind. Breakfast was well presented and the quality was good. If you want four or five star luxury then this is not for you, however having experienced both I was more than happy with this value for money hotel. There were a couple of electrical issues which were repaired within twenty minutes and on a Sunday! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
