Have stayed at La Cala many times. The staff are all excellent, food is good and it's in a central position for the town. Rooms are comfortable and kept spotless by the domestic staff. Our fridge didn't work properly but was fixed very quickly once we had reported this to reception. We have stayed at other comparable hotels in Santa Eulalia but like La Cala best. However it is beginning to look a little jaded compared to those that have been renovated more recently. The bathroom has no ventilation or air-con so was very hot and sticky. The room safe still has a physical key which you have to pay for rather than having a digital key code which you can set yourself. Also they try to make you wear a scruffy wrist band if you are halfboard - as a tourist walking round town the last thing you want to be doing is advertising the fact. We cut ours off and were never asked about this - your room card should be adequate proof. Having said all that it wouldn't stop us returning to the hotel as we feel at home there.

Hotel was perfect for my age group Staff were amazing, nothing is too much trouble.

The hotel furniture needs bit of updating but the food staff and cleanliness was great
