Lovely hotel good location and clean

Always clean, staff always cheerful and helpful and close to amenities

Hidden extras like having to pay for safe and 13 euros a day for aircon, might have chosen somewhere else if had known

This was our third time staying in this accommodation. Overall experience was lovely, however there were definitely more signs of neglect to some aspects this time around. For example, the condition of the sun beds definitely deteriorated compared to our first visit 8 years ago and again 4 years ago. The upkeep of the communal toilets wasn’t great - missing toilet seats and constantly wet slippery floors. The pool maintenance was poorer than we’ve experienced here before - very dirty after the first week we stayed, and big lumps of chlorine powder floating in the pool. The final comment would be the high upfront costs from the hotel upon arrival. We had two rooms for our family of four and this resulted in an upfront cost (for air conditioning, a safe in one room and tourist tax) of just over 500 euros which was required in cash. As we’ve stayed here before, we had an idea that this cost would be required upon arrival however we weren’t aware it would be this high and required in cash. If this could be communicated upon booking, then we could have been more prepared and included this in our holiday budget as 500 euros isn’t a small fee. That being said, we did enjoy our stay very much and staff did look after us. We would come back and stay again despite it not matching its original standard 8 years ago.
