    The only downside was having to pay to use the safe in the room. I think that should be included. Otherwise the accommodation was great.

    there is no aircondtioning in the rooms and there charge additional fees for having a air conditioning unit or fan for the room.

    The food was more to spanish taste (being spain), which sounds silly but for the english pallette its a bit 'adventurous'. There was no U bend in the sinks which let a bad smell come back into the room, which we solved by putting a cup over the plug holes. Beds are firm but with the heat that is a good thing. There is a few VERY noisy bars across the road which required us to have the windows shut from 10pm and a fan on (brought with us as you have to pay for it at the hotel, along with an AC unit). Staff were lovely and hotel was clean, although slightly dated but that is the same for gran canaria in general.
