    We stayed in Damon hotel apartments in 2019 and thought it was okay so booked again. A bad decision as the rooms were awful in room 302 with a large hedge on our 6’ x 3’ baloney. Drinks were local and cocktails contained very little alcohol. Food was so repetitive that we gave up after day 3 on the evening meal, plastic cups for all drinks regardless of what time of day or evening. The only way to have a glass of wine was to book in for dinner at 7 pm and have a glass of wine in a proper glass before going out to a proper restaurant for a meal. The daily menu for lunch was always the same, the same fish dish cooked the same way and loads of processed ham and cheese . On arrival we were told that sandwiches were in the room due to our late arrival, horrible one slice of cheese with crumpled lettuce leaf in two slices of break, straight to the bin. On our ‘all inclusive’ holiday the crisps were available at €1 per pack and if one liked to have a proper drink it would coast €7 to €7:50 for a proper whisker or brandy. Overall this is a place to avoid, the only positive was the entertainment programme every evening
