    Very dated accommodation no major work carried out for 30 years ( from an original member of staff ) hotel toilets ( not room ) were inadequate and in need of repair. Food although varied was always cold and of poor standard. Music around pool was excessive and uncomfortable especially as it was for a very small minority at entertainment times. Every time it started people left. Beds in the room were excessively hard and showers , well just silly and awkward to use. 4/5 star hotels that put cheap soap dispensers in the shower and sink areas is degrading.

    The general areas were of a good standard but the rooms were not acceptable for a 4 star rating. The patio door glass had broken down so you couldn’t see out of it ., the mosquito net was split in several places making it ineffective. The bathroom was very old and tired . Plugs for bath and hand basin were missing. Generally shabby. The towels were grey and hard.

    The staff were lovely. The holiday was ok but the nonstop loud African music that was played all day long, drove us and others absolutely mad. The hotel had predominantly British guests so I'm confused as to why the music wasn't pop music. I found it difficult to read my book and relax. They did turn it down a little when asked, only to turn it up again after a activity. The food generally was good, there was always something and a good choice. Room was tired but always clean. There was no safe in the room but they were available at a price. The room was soundproofed and quite. A good selection of drinks available in AI and the bar staff worked really hard. There wasn't a TUI Rep available which was disappointing.
