    “Très déçu”

    Pour les autres années, je ne passerai plus par une agence. Je créerai mon voyage moi-même comme je le fais pendant l'année. En juillet, nous passions toujours par Tui, mais c'est fini. Plus de service, il faut quand même tout faire seul.

    Dear TUI Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the room allocations for single travelers during a recent booking. I traveled alongside two couples, and we all booked the exact same room type, which specified a balcony or terrace. However, upon arrival, I was placed in a very small room at the back of the hotel with only a window overlooking the car park, while my friends were given larger rooms with terraces or balconies. When I raised this at reception, I was told no other rooms were available that evening, though I was moved the following morning. The next day, another single female friend arrived and was allocated the exact same substandard room I had just vacated. After she complained, she was also told no other rooms were available and was moved the next day. Since she was only staying for five nights, she had to spend 20% of her holiday in inadequate accommodation. As single travelers, we pay a single supplement fee, making this experience feel unfair and discriminatory. I would like to know if it is TUI's policy to place solo travelers in inferior rooms in the hope that they will not complain. I look forward to your response and clarification on this matter.
