Our accommodation was very clean which continued whilst we stayed

As we didn’t travel due to health issues I can’t rate anything except being very disappointed in TUI as a company and sending mixed messages in their communication, will I book another TUI holiday ? I don’t think so as a long standing customer I will be going elsewhere!

The hotel gave us an upgraded room when they saw that my husband had mobility problems. This room had a more accessible bathroom. However the shower temperature was not good, going from hot to cold intermittently throughout. The maintenance couldn’t seem to solve it. Two other problems were solved immediately. The room and linen was spotless and the room cleaned everyday. The tea/ coffee making machine needed to have instructions as to its use. I would have much preferred a simple kettle. The staff were excellent and always helpful.

Overpriced. Food was poor. Pork was labeled as beef, not good for alergies or muslims etc. The lasgane was tasty but if there was any mince in it I'm not sure, the same with bolognease sauce. Never any hot sauces to go with the tiny portions of fish. The desserts were extremely boring, exactly the same every night. A shallow bowl of custard with rich tea biscuit on top, cold rice pudding, sm glass of mousse with either sprinkles or a bit of fuit on top, 2 almost identical cakes. None of the cooked breakfast looked appetising. However the worst issue was the shower, it was DANGEROUS a health & safety issue. You set it to the correct temp then the cold water pressure dropped & the shower temp was likely to scold. As a 60+ lady I had to kneel just outside of the shower with a bucket of warm water to wash my hair as it was unsafe to stay under it long enough to wet my hair. You could run the cold water to clean your teeth & it would almost stop when the pressure dropped. When I complained at reception their initial response was \"it's the same all over town it's because the fair is here\" and \"I'll send the handyman up\" It's a hotel problem not a room problem, a 4* hotel should not have this issue. The toilets outside the restaurant had 2 gents & one ladies out of action for the whole 2 weeks we were there. However the location was excellent, the room & view lovely, the beds comfortable & the room was quiet & dark at night. I will never recommend this hotel, it looks 4* at first glance but it def isn't.
