Beautiful location.

I have already put in a formal complaint. The food was revolting re heated and not hygienic. Dirty cups glasses and cutlery. No allergy information not safe to eat no gf food available as requested before travelling. Unhygienic staff. Lack of cleaning in rooms. Tired and scruffy accommodation it was disgusting and left us unable to eat at the hotel despite paying for all inclusive the drinks were not much better

We stayed at Hotel Matilda in Zante for 7 nights through TUI and came away extremely disappointed. The food was a major disappointment. Much of it was bland and often only warm rather than hot. We experienced reheated chips and breakfast sausages appeared On one occasion the food we were actually eating was cold. To be fair, one lunch was quite good, but unfortunately this was the exception. We found ourselves needing to escape from the hotel in order to get a decent meal. The pool itself was probably the best part of the hotel. It was attractive and appeared well maintained. Unfortunately, the surrounding area wasn't always maintained to the same standard. Pool bins were left full for extended periods, rubbish and empty plastic glasses weren't always cleared away.

If you want a budget hotel than this is it. The food wasn't the best, but you could always find \"something to eat\". The manager tried his very best to ensure our stay was good, but sadly we wouldn't return to that particular hotel but would to Zante. But - we got good value for what we paid and had a great time regardless.
