    The resort itself is absolutely stunning and very aesthetically pleasing, with plenty of pools to choose from and a beautiful private beach. The à la carte restaurants were excellent, offering a great variety of tasty food. However, we booked them well in advance—had we not done so, we likely wouldn't have managed to get reservations. The buffet was of good quality, but the selection was surprisingly limited considering the size of the resort. I found there wasn't a great deal of variety, and the menu was largely the same every day. The gyros stand on the beach was a definite highlight—10/10—as was the dessert and sweet treats station. Unfortunately, there were several negatives that significantly impacted our holiday. The entertainment was very poor. The resort seemed to have a group of around five singers who mixed and matched into different combinations each evening, but they performed virtually the same songs and setlist every night. After 11 days, I knew exactly which song was coming next. Sadly, the vocal quality wasn't particularly impressive either, so we ended up avoiding the evening entertainment altogether. Other performances were held in the children's amphitheatre at the back of the resort and were also underwhelming. Once the entertainment finished at 10pm, the resort became completely silent. There wasn't even any background music. Guests were left sitting around expecting the evening to continue, but nothing happened. Most people simply went back to their rooms or sat chatting in silence. The drinks service was by far the biggest disappointment and, in my opinion, the worst all-inclusive drinks experience I've had despite visiting many resorts. During the day, unless you wanted to walk around 10 minutes back to the hotel lobby through the resort's many hills and levels, you had to use the main pool bar. Every single time I visited there was a queue of around 10 people which took 10/15minutes. On several occasions I simply gave up because I didn't want to spend so much of my holiday waiting for a drink, it should take no longer than 5 minutes to get a Cola, ot to mention you would only get a 3 sip sized cup! There were only two bartenders serving, one of whom worked quickly while the other was noticeably slower. The young staff members who walked around taking drink orders at the sunbeds were excellent and really helped, but they only came around periodically. The evening drinks service was even worse. The main night bar is where most guests gather, yet there were only around two waiters taking orders for roughly 100 guests. Drinks had to be ordered through the waiters rather than directly at the bar, resulting in average waits of around 20 minutes just to receive a drink. This is simply unacceptable for a premium all-inclusive resort. On one occasion, near the end of the evening when there were only a handful of guests left, I approached the bar directly after waiting over 25 minutes without seeing a waiter. I was told they could not serve me directly and that I still had to order through a waiter—despite there being none in sight. If you wanted to order for yourself, you had to walk upstairs to a much smaller bar, where there were only two bartenders and, once again, queues of around 10 people. It genuinely felt as though the system was designed to discourage guests from ordering drinks and to limit consumption as part of the all-inclusive package. Whether that was intentional or not, it certainly came across that way. I'm not a heavy drinker, so this isn't about wanting unlimited alcohol—it's simply about being able to enjoy a drink without spending a large part of the evening waiting for it. Like many other guests, I found myself ordering two drinks at a time simply to avoid constantly queueing. One moment summed it up perfectly: a lady asked a member of staff behind the bar for a simple glass of ice. She was refused because only a waiter was allowed to take the order, despite it taking literally two seconds to scoop some ice into a glass. I happened to be at the front of the queue and ordered it for her myself. Situations like this were simply baffling. Unfortunately, this alone would prevent me from returning to a Mitsis resort. Service in the restaurants was also inconsistent. On several occasions we ordered drinks that never arrived, and we frequently had to ask more than once for cutlery or get it ourselves. Meanwhile, staff were often quick to clear plates—sometimes before we had even finished eating. On a few occasions, I noticed staff standing on their phones instead of paying attention to guests. Another issue was the lack of conveniently located toilets around the daytime pool and beach areas. There were only two toilet facilities, both a considerable distance apart. Depending on where you were relaxing, it could easily take five minutes to walk to the nearest one, which seemed like a poor design choice for such a large resort. Overall, we still had a good holiday because the resort itself is beautiful and the facilities look fantastic. However, the level of service simply didn't match the premium price we paid. Had the entertainment been better and the drinks and restaurant service been more efficient and attentive, I would happily have considered returning. Sadly, based on our experience, I feel we paid for a luxury resort but received service and amenities that fell well below expectations and i feel inclined to ask for money back.

    “Leider keine 5 Sterne mehr.”

    Wir waren vor 15 und vor 10 Jahren in diesem Hotel und waren durchweg begeistert. Aus diesem Grund dachten wir nichts verkehrt zu machen wieder dieses Hotel zu buchen. Leider ist einiges nicht mehr so toll. Deutsch wird gar nicht mehr gesprochen und beim Personal kommt man teilweise nicht mal mit Englisch weiter. Das Essen ist lecker, aber häufig kalt. Das Service-Personal ist häufig völlig überfordert und dadurch bleibt die Freundlichkeit auf der Strecke. Als wir ein Spezialitäten Restaurant buchen wollten, war leider alles belegt. Als ich den Geburtstag meiner Frau erwähnte wurde es uns ermöglicht den Termin zu bekommen und meine Frau an dem Tag mit einem Ständchen empfangen. Das war toll. Es ist nach wie vor eine schöne Anlage, aber leider in die Jahre gekommen. Und der Umbau hat der Anlage kein Gefallen getan. Uns kam das Gefühl „ Quantität statt Qualität „

    “Woher kommen die 5 Sterne?”

    Das Hotel kann ich grundsätzlich weiterempfehlen, aber auf keinen Fall mit 5 Sternen. Es kann nicht sein, dass Getränke nicht verfügbar sind und man darüber auch noch unfreundlich informiert wird. Mit anderen Worten \"Dann nimm doch etwas anderes\" Und Hinweis Getränkebestellung grundsätzlich nur beim Kellner und Barhocker buchstäblich unterm Hintern weggezogen....ohne Worte. Und verbeulte Kaffekkannen mit lauwarmen Inhalt ist auch nicht akzeptabel. Der Versuch, einen Cappuccino zu bestellen ging auch gründlich schief. Da war das Frühstück bald beendet. Zimmerausstattung ; Toilette mit Dusche und jeden Tag Land unter. Eigentlich habe ich im Urlaub nicht erwartet, dass Bad noch putzen zu müssen.
