    Recommended

    I had some issues around cleanliness of our first room block 4, we were moved due to this to room 5102. This again had some maintenance issues but was rectified quickly. Issue with mosquito bites and a person entering our room without permission. Hotel took the concern raised and rectified this with us. Entertainment was not focused on English guests and on a weekend was very south American focused. Staff were pleasant and good generally okay to good.

    The rooms were good but there was a problem somewhere as on our third night we were ravaged by insects bites i alone had approx 90 bites over both legs and from there it was a few every day. this was disspite using repellent of different makes. It was not just limited to us lots of others were affected. we were advised to keep doors closed and the air con on. The aircon set up did not help as the intake is over the room door and there is a big gap under the door and when the room is cleaned the door is left wide open. We have been to the area on several occasions and have never suffered this bad itching for 10 days. In the buffet the food was reasonable but you could not say it was hot, unless cooked in front of you. Food was warm at best. There was a reasonable choice. I realise that we are on a holiday abroad but 95% of the animation teams talking was in Spanish with little said in English. At entertainment it was never asked are there any British folk here, but they went through the local countries. It made me feel all most unwelcome. Also i need TUI to arrange an excess baggage refund as i have been charged for this when i paid before went left, £63 twice and the at the airport. Not on. please provide complaint number.

    Ocean blue and sands rooms was really clean and the place itself was stunning and the staff was great aswell the bad points was the midget bites from near the big pond inbetween the lobby and specialised restaurants on a night it seem to happen once the water fountains got switched off and also the food in the buffet area was always lukewarm and sometimes disappointing

    No lift facilities. However the rooms were very good. Great air con. Brilliant maid service. Mini bar renewed every day. The bed was extremely comfortable. Very happy with accommodation.
