    Rooms were clean and comfortable though dated. Extensive breakfast buffet but quality of some items not great e.g. bread appeared to be brought out of freezer night before. Dinner menu second week was a repeat of the first. Pastas were great but mains disappointing e.g. speciality smoked pork loin was three thin slices of reconstituted gammon and desert buffet had little variation one day to the next.

    The hotel was excellent. We could not fault the helpfulness of the staff and the hotel's overall generosity. Good location. Generally quiet but we were disturbed on a couple of occasions with early morning noise from vehicles outside (we had a front room). One morning it appeared to be the bin men emptying bins at 4:30 in the morning !

    The Hotel Rubino was excellent. The room was airy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food was delicious, plentiful and with lots of menu choices. And the staff were absolutely wonderful. Without exception, they were always friendly, helpful and cheerful and did everything they could to ensure we had a brilliant holiday.
