Housekeeping were awful. Some days they didn't show up at all, other days not until 5 or 6pm when we wanted to use our room. When they did show up, they did not replace towels, toilet rolls, water, tea, coffee, milk. One day we got back to our room late at night 11pm, and nobody had been in at all. I had to call and ask for towels so we could shower and toilet roll as we had not had any replaced in the bathroom. I had to speak with reception every single day to chase them on this, and every day they assured me they would address these issues, but they didn't. I saw some cockroaches, which I had to kill, but they were left on the floor until we left. The Hotel is called the Radisson Beach Resort, and the most disappointing thing about it is that there is NO beach. There is grass up to a concrete public footpath and then a drop of about 6ft onto slimy rocks below. You could walk further up the path to the hotel next door and climb over slimy rocks to get in if you wished to risk it. I did try twice but could not get in as it was so slippery and the rocks were sharp. I did see some people attempt to get in and fall over, so as a consequence we were not able to get into the water even once. There is also a rusty handrail about 200 metres away that you could try, but as this was so rusty and wobbly it wasn't an option. This handrail only led you down the 6ft drop onto more slimy rocks. With the exception of 2 or 3 members of Greek staff, the rest were all foreign, and their English was not good at all, so communication was difficult. They were, rude, sullen and moody. We would speak to them and they ignored us. The pool bar staff, of which there were 4 on duty usually, were terrible. It was not peak season, so they were not busy, with maybe one or two tables taken up, but they all stood around talking or on their phones, and many times we had to go and find them to give them our order or pay them, after having given up waiting in the hope that one would come to our table. I did make a complaint several times at reception and was told they would be passed onto management, but these complaints were never acknowledged by anyone. I did finally manage to speak to the customer relations officer but she confirmed that she had never been informed of any of these problems.

“Cockroach Found in Room – Poor Handling by Staff”

We found a cockroach in our room and even took a photo. My boyfriend caught it and brought it to the reception—he's not scared of them at all. We asked to be moved to a new room since I’m really afraid of cockroaches, but they only offered to clean the same room. Honestly, after that, I didn’t feel safe staying there anymore. We had just traveled from Finland, where cockroaches aren't common, so it definitely didn’t come from our luggage.

“Alles in allem zu empfehlen”

Tolles Hotel in guter Lage. Meerseitige Zimmer mit guter Aussicht und wenig Geräuschen. Das Frühstücksbuffet erfüllt alle Wünsche. Einzig negativ war die Gründlichkeit der Zwischenreinigung und die Schiebetüren des Nassbereiches im Zimmer. Hier würde eine elegantere Lösung mehr Privatsphäre schaffen.

Dadurch daß ich Herzbeschwerden habe bin ich auf fremde angewiesen. Ich habe meine Familie besucht und wenn ich im Hotel war, bin ich wunderbar betreut worden
