This is a very large and busy hotel which is excellent for families with children. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the kids club which included a number of daily activities. The water park and play areas were well managed and maintained

Firstly, I want to say that the resort itself is beautiful. The grounds are stunning, the staff work extremely hard, the RixyClub, TeenClub and waterpark are excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the lazy river. The bars are also lovely and offer a good selection of drinks. The KidsFest was amazing. Unfortunately, however, our experience with the food has left us very disappointed, particularly because of a number of concerns regarding food temperatures and what appeared to be food safety issues. Food and illness concerns: We ate at La Turca during our stay. Our daughter was served pasta with breaded chicken. Having read previous reviews mentioning food being served lukewarm, I specifically checked the chicken before she ate it. The breadcrumbs were warm, but the chicken itself was freezing cold inside. My husband asked for it to be reheated and subsequently ate it. A minced beef starter was also served warm rather than hot. I refused to eat mine, although my husband did. My husband then suffered from diarrhoea for three days. I reported this to Guest Relations at the time. I also ate at the Mandarin restaurant. We all ate the same food apart from the sushi, which only I had. I subsequently suffered from severe diarrhoea for two days. The sushi was not particularly cold, and this concerned me because the restaurant itself was extremely warm, with no apparent air conditioning or fans. In those conditions, I would be particularly concerned about how quickly chilled food could become unsafe if it is not kept at an appropriate temperature. On our final evening, we ate at Peoples Restaurant. My husband ordered chicken pasta and the chicken was warm rather than hot. We did not eat it and informed the waiter, who appeared genuinely shocked when we showed him. We then ordered steak, which arrived cold. Again, we did not eat it. I was not comfortable eating the salmon by this point, so didn't. We left the restaurant at approximately 9pm still hungry and ended up having some pasta from the Turquoise buffet before it closed. There were also occasions at the buffet where I felt that food being served at lunchtime appeared to be from the previous day's service. One example was the prawns following the seafood night. On another occasion, I selected some slow-cooked beef which had been sitting under the hot light, yet it was cold inside. Other guests becoming unwell I also personally witnessed a child vomiting in the lobby outside the hairdressers and another child vomiting on the floor in the buffet during breakfast service, approximately two days before we left. During our stay, we spoke to other families and one family told us that members of their party had also experienced sickness and/or diarrhoea. They were eating at the à la carte restaurants on most evenings. I appreciate that this does not prove the cause of anyone's illness, and I am not suggesting that the resort is necessarily responsible for every case of sickness. However, when combined with our own experiences of repeatedly receiving food that was lukewarm or cold in the centre, it has left us with serious concerns about food handling and temperature control. Once I became ill around day 3 or 4 of our holiday, I found myself constantly thinking about which foods were \"safe\" to eat. I was checking the temperature of meals and worrying about which member of our family might become unwell next. I simply should not feel like this on a holiday at a supposed 5-star premium resort. I completely understand that catering for a large number of guests is a significant challenge. However, I would expect the à la carte restaurants in particular to maintain a very high standard of food preparation and temperature control. This is especially important when guests have to work hard to secure reservations through the app, and in the case of the Italian restaurant, we even paid an additional supplement. Drinks and premium experience The bars are lovely and the staff are very helpful. Mohammed at the pool bar, and Mohammet who looks after the darts/karaoke are excellent. However, we noticed that not all spirits appeared to be available on display. We had to specifically ask for certain drinks, which were kept in cupboards underneath the counters. For a premium 5-star resort, and considering the amount we paid for our holiday, I would not expect guests to have to ask whether particular premium spirits are available in a hidden cupboard. For example, I like Hendrick's, and we had to ask for it rather than seeing it available. Disaronno Amaretto was not available at any of the bars we asked. As this is my husband's preferred drink, we eventually asked friends who were travelling out to bring us a bottle. Segregation between guests We also noticed a very clear distinction between guests staying in the villas with shared pools and other resort guests. The villa guests have access to exclusive restaurants, separate cushioned seating areas at the Lotus Bar, a completely separate raised section within the buffet, and a separate area at the beach. I completely understand that higher-category accommodation can come with additional privileges. However, the extent of the segregation was noticeable and created a feeling of a significant divide between guests based on the type of accommodation they had paid for. Comparison with our previous Rixos experience We have previously stayed at Rixos Premium Belek, and unfortunately the difference between the two resorts was very noticeable to us. At Belek, I never once felt that I had to carefully select which food I could safely eat, check the temperature of food before eating it, or worry about which one of us might subsequently develop an upset stomach. The food and drinks selection at Belek also felt considerably stronger. Every brand and bottle on display! This is particularly disappointing because we are clearly fans of the Rixos brand. We have had a very positive experience at Belek and would happily return there. Unfortunately, our experience at Tekirova has changed our view of this particular resort. Overall I want to stress that there were many things we genuinely enjoyed about the resort. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities for children and teenagers are excellent, the lazy river is fantastic, and the staff work incredibly hard. However, food is a fundamental part of an all-inclusive holiday, and the repeated experience of receiving food that was lukewarm or cold, combined with several members of our family becoming unwell and seeing other guests who appeared to be unwell, has significantly affected our holiday. I felt very anxious travelling home as I felt one of our party could become unwell from the previous days food on our journey. The resort itself is beautiful, but the food has been a major let-down for us, particularly because our concerns are not simply about taste or personal preference. They are about the temperature and apparent food safety of what was being served. We are not looking to cause unnecessary trouble, but we felt it was important to provide honest and detailed feedback. We would also appreciate it if these concerns could be properly investigated, particularly the temperature control of food in the à la carte restaurants and buffet, as well as the conditions in the warmer restaurants where chilled food is being served. Sadly, we will not be returning to Rixos Premium Tekirova. However, we would 100% return to Rixos Premium Belek, which has previously given us the standard of experience we associate with the Rixos brand.

Pokój z jednej strony widok na piekny ogród a z drugiej na piękne góry. Cudnie!
