Amazing hotel clean relaxing. Wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble

Great hotel in an excellent location directly opposite St Paul’s Bay. The hotel was very clean throughout and the room was spotless. All the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff and restaurant staff were lovely and despite comments left in other reviews we were left a large complimentary bottle of water in the room every day. Negative points are that if you are at the front the hotel and in a room near to the restaurant/bar next door then brace yourself for loud music until at least midnight. It didn’t really bother us but worth knowing to request a sea view on as high a floor as possible away from the restaurant. Also the pool area is not good - sun beds are squashed together like sardines with barely any shade available and most facing a plain blankwhite wall. You would need to virtually climb over sunbeds to get to pool. We didn’t bother with trying to get a sunned and went to the Nine Lives club over the road on the beach and paid for sunbeds right by the sea. The rooftop bar at lunchtimes was not the same service level as the restaurant. The ordering machines didn’t seem to work and we ended up going up to the bar, queueing abs ordering. Overall a great hotel but the whole rooftop area lets it down.

Nice clean covenant for buses and ferry's

Hotel was noisy due to the beach bar opposite with loud music every night. We couldn’t use our balcony at all. The air conditioning wasn’t throughout the hotel just in our room. The corridors, lifts and dining area were hot. The room was fine, clean and comfortable.
