The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our first night - the beds weren't entirely clean, but were cleaned the next day. The pool was great, perhaps a bit on the cold side, however, the poolside changing area was not good - especially with a rule about not coming through the hotel in wet clothes (and a towel) - it was just a WC and not very nice. The room was quiet, with a little faraway traffic noise. The AC mostly worked - but had one afternoon that it wasn't functioning. Bathroom was all functional, and hot water worked. The curtains blocked light very well. The overhead fire detector had that one annoying blinking light just in the field of view when trying to sleep though - a common issue in hotels. There were two chairs for us, although one has it's cushion sunk a bit deep and likely needs repair. Breakfast was a decent buffet, although if you come in the last half hour, expect them to be winding down. The coffee machines were so-so, not always functional. Evening bar - the bar service was friendly, with a few kinds of beer (including 0% for those not drinking), Cola, other soft drinks, Sangria. Staff were usually smiling and approachable, and accommodating for guests whose Spanish is less than great. bar tapas - ok, perhaps Patatas Bravas was a bit powdery, but the sauce was good. Both reception and bar staff showed local knowledge, helping us find local places to eat - with a local Mexican place being the best tip, we enjoyed it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms size, bathroom is also a good size with bath or shower. Hand soap, shampoo, body wash and body cream provided. Mini bar, free WiFi. Pool at the rear, water was freezing, not many sunbeds but there are chairs. Bus stop and metro just down the road about 20 minutes on metro to centre only 10 minutes from airport.
