    Fab hotel lots of steps to get between places though Had room on ground floor as requested but wet room was a pain, drainage quite poor took ages for floor to dry after showering - had to use towels to dry the floor could have done with a mop also a hand rail near the shower head would have been useful for balance

    Nice hotel- our room was very clean and well kept. Friendly, helpful staff. Food not bad. Spa staff too keen to get you to book a service- relentless almost. Not all blocks have lifts, which can mean several flights of stairs which does affect people with mobility issues- bad knees and ankles in our case, but reception staff were able to move us from a third floor room to a first floor room with far fewer stairs after a couple of days. Lots of sun loungers, but if you want a prime spot, you need to ‘reserve’ it early with your towel, otherwise you just get what you get. Less than a 10 minute walk away from shops and restaurants and the beach; the Blue Lagoon beach which is a really nice tropical looking beach area is about a 15-20 minute walk along the beach or there are free hotel shuttle buses everyday at different times. Most disappointing part of the holiday was how some of the other guests conduct themselves- no consideration for anyone else. Overall though, I enjoyed it.

    The only downside was the fact that the food became a bit dull. Everything tasted the same, so with hindsight we would book B&B in future. Staff at the hotel were brilliant and the only complaint we had was the fire alarm went off at 1.30am on two occasions.
