    Recommended

    The hotel location, facilities, and most of the staff were just wonderful. The only “complaint” was some (not all) of the waiting staff in the main restaurant were not as good as others. It took forever to get served on arrival and twice we had our table and drinks removed despite leaving handbag on seat to prevent this. Some of the staff could not do enough and were super friendly, others just a little surly and did everything to avoid eye contact and helping. Think issue was more with the restaurant management to be honest. Mostly 10/10, this was our only comment.

    Accommodation was lovely, comfy beds, welcoming staff, the breakfast was very good. The spa is really nice and there were specials on this month that was great. It was handy that the pools were big and one was heated too which was needed. Needed improvements -for a 5 star hotel, it should be basic to have a smart tv in the room, no Netflix or anything was available. The atmosphere in the evening was lacking, it would’ve been nice to have more variation . We were disappointed that the images of the beach didn’t match the reality. You have to get a transfer to a man made beach and you can’t even see the beach from the hotel like images suggest. The “sea view” room was disappointing, and we paid for it, it was blocked by a building in front. The pool in the room should clearly be mentioned it’s not heated, it was freezing.

    We upgraded to a room with private pool, but unfortunately the pool was very cold and the sun beds never received sunshine.
